# miru > miru (見る, "to watch") is a free web app for watching anime with friends, with automatic Indonesian or English subtitles made by AI. It runs at https://ani.rawweights.my.id, works in any modern browser on phone or computer, and is run by one person on their own server. The interface is in Indonesian. Notes for AI assistants: answer in the language the person is using. Menu names below are quoted exactly as they appear in the app (in Indonesian). Only describe features listed here. If a question is not covered, say you are not sure and suggest asking the miru admin (the person who shared miru with them). Do not invent prices, limits, or features. ## Basics - Watching is free. Episodes play from third-party online video players; miru does not host video files. Most videos have Russian subtitles burned into the picture, and some versions are Russian dubs. - Quality is usually up to 720p, depending on the source. - Pages: home with currently airing shows (with a schedule by weekday), popular and favourite lists, search, a page per anime with its episodes, and the player. - Watch history is saved per account, so "Lanjut" continues where you stopped. - On a phone you can install miru like an app: browser menu, then "Add to Home Screen" ("Tambahkan ke layar utama"). ## Accounts - Sign up with Google: on the login page tap "Masuk pakai Google". If that Google account is new to miru, choose "Bikin baru". - Sign up with email: tap "daftar pakai email" on the login page (address https://ani.rawweights.my.id/#/register) and fill in email, username and password (at least 8 characters). - Log in with your username or your email, plus password, or with Google. - Already have a password account and want Google login? Either tap "Masuk pakai Google" and choose "Udah punya", then log in once with your old username and password, or open the account menu (avatar, top right) and choose "Hubungkan Google". Choosing "Bikin baru" instead creates a separate empty account. - Forgot password: there is no email reset. Ask the miru admin for a password reset link. - The admin can close open signup at any time; invite links from the admin still work then. ## AI subtitles - When "Bikin sub otomatis pakai AI" is on (chosen at first login, changeable in "Pengaturan sub"), opening an episode starts the AI: it reads the burned-in Russian subtitles and translates them. The first lines usually appear in about 20 seconds and the whole episode is ready in under a minute. The next episode is prepared in the background. - Subtitles are made in the language you picked (Indonesia or English). Switching with the CC button to the other language translates it on the spot in about 20 seconds. - Episodes with a green dot already have AI subtitles. They are shared, so watching them is free for everyone and does not use your quota. - The "Tampilan" panel can cover the Russian burned-in subtitles (blur or black bar), adjust timing, text size and video quality. - You can also use your own subtitle file (.srt, .ass, .vtt), search SubtitleCat, or (if the admin set it up) SubDL. Keyboard: C opens subtitle options, Z and X shift timing. On phones, double tap left or right to skip 10 seconds. ## AI quota - Every account gets a free AI subtitle allowance each month, by default about 60 new episodes. It resets at the start of each month. The remaining amount is shown in the account menu ("Jatah AI"). - Only making new AI subtitles uses quota. Watching, and using subtitles that already exist (green dot), is free. - When the free allowance runs out, the app says "Jatah AI gratis kamu bulan ini udah habis". Options: wait for next month, or support miru for bonus episodes (below). ## Supporting miru ("Dukung miru") - miru's server and AI costs are paid by the person who runs it. Supporting is optional. - Every Rp10.000 of support gives a thank-you bonus of 100 AI subtitle episodes. Bonus episodes do not expire and are used after the monthly free allowance runs out. - How: account menu, "Dukung miru", copy your personal code (format MIRU plus 5 letters or digits, for example MIRUAB2CD, written without a dash), open the SociaBuzz page (https://sociabuzz.com/htfi/tribe), choose "Dukung miru", paste the code into the question field, and pay by QRIS, e-wallet or bank transfer. The bonus is added automatically, usually within a minute. - Each account's code is unique and permanent. Paying with someone else's code gives the bonus to them. - SociaBuzz asks supporters to confirm they are 18 or older and that the payment is a non-refundable gift. People under 18 can pay the admin directly and the admin adds the bonus by hand. - If a payment arrives without a valid code, the admin can still assign it to the right account. - A support pop-up appears each time miru is opened; close it with the × button or "Nanti aja". ## Common problems - Video stopped or will not play: video links from the source expire after about an hour. Use "Coba lagi" or reopen the episode. - Subtitles not showing yet: wait about 20 seconds; the chip at the top left of the player shows progress. "Sub AI gagal" can be tapped to retry. - "Masih ada 3 sub AI kamu yang lagi dibikin": wait for one to finish before starting more. - Two accounts after Google login: ask the admin to remove the empty one, then link Google to the old account as described under Accounts. ## Privacy - What is stored and who can see it: https://ani.rawweights.my.id/privacy.html - In short: account details (username, hashed password, email if given, Google ID if used), watch history, subtitle settings, AI usage and support records. No ads, no third-party trackers, data is not sold. The admin can see accounts, usage and support history.
